Abstract: The Nonprofit Learning Lab will host a two-week workshop titled “From Chaos to Clarity: Optimizing Operations at Your Nonprofit,” May 13–20. According to the NLL, as nonprofits grow, expand and adapt to change, it's increasingly important for them to optimize, streamline and document their standard operating procedures. Doing so helps nonprofit staff complete projects, manage programs and fulfill their organization's mission efficiently, the NLL said. It not only helps improve operational efficiency but also helps nonprofit professionals identify time-consuming tasks and areas that can be streamlined. This workshop will teach participants how to create and implement SOPs that support the scaling of their organizations' programs and services. The sessions will include a detailed walkthrough of how to create SOPs and provide a practical standard operating procedure template that can be tailored to their organization's needs, the group said. The workshop will provide the tools and strategies to build a foundation for success for organizations that are expanding, undergoing change or simply aiming to improve its operational practices, the NLL said. Registration fees range up to $200. For more information, visit https://bit.ly/3E7tvwF.
