Abstract: For jet mixing in homogeneous liquid systems, such as large tanks, the application of the axial dispersion model based on large-scale vortices is presented to evaluate mixing times.The use of low gas flows for mixing liquids at superficial gas velocities below 1 mm s -1 is modeled with an axial dispersion model.Both applications are demonstrated by large-scale field tests. . . . . . . . .
