Abstract: The paper considers the production activities of the Institute “Microbe” during the Great Patriotic War. The methodological basis for the study was the documents from the funds of the State Archive of the Saratov Region. It reflects the features of working conditions and the results of work of employees of production units in the realities of wartime, their contribution to the common victory in the Great Patriotic War.
