Abstract: In recent years, the technology of time-sensitive networks TSN, standardized by the international institute IEEE, has been actively implemented in various communication networks (industrial, on-board, mobile, etc.). This technology is the development of the standard Ethernet technology, which is widely used in almost all modern packet data networks. The main innovation in the TSN technology is to ensure guaranteed quality of traffic service and reliable data delivery process in Ethernet networks. To implement this opportunity, the corresponding mechanisms for traffic formation and planning were introduced into the Ethernet technology to ensure guaranteed quality of service. The article provides a brief overview of these standard mechanisms and recommendations for their possible practical application in various infocommunication networks and systems.
