Abstract: Purpose. Search for ways to improve the methods of calculating the fleet of railway rolling stock of industrial enterprises (in particular, mining enterprises) taking into account the local operating conditions of the industrial transport infrastructure. Methodology. Analysis of existing methods for determining the rolling stock fleet to ensure and optimize the internal transport needs of an industrial enterprise. Results. Identification of shortcomings and determination of the need to improve methods for calculating rolling stock at industrial enterprises. Practical significance. The need to improve the methodology for determining the necessary fleet of rolling stock on the approach tracks of industrial enterprises and predict a more accurate assessment of their loading. The feasibility of developing a functional model of the railway infrastructure of an industrial enterprise.
