Abstract: This study explored student preferences for homework grading and exam equation sheet preparation.A survey was administered to 43 students enrolled in three courses taught by the same instructor.During these courses, two grading methods (self-grading and instructor grading) and two equation sheet preparation methods (student-prepared and instructor-provided) were implemented. The survey also asked students to indicate their preferred homework length and frequency. Results indicated that most students favored shorter assignments with opportunities for self-grading and correction.Additionally, the vast majority of students expressed a preference for instructor-provided equation sheets for exams.
