Abstract: The article is devoted to the migration of personы with entrepreneurial competence in regional socioeconomic system (on the example of Bashkortostan Republic). Due to the weak development of this topic in Russian science, the author primarily examines existing studies on the external and internal migration of entrepreneurs, including potential ones. Statistics on the entrepreneurial activity of young people, as the most mobile group of the population, are provided. It is proved that profitability is the main driver of the choice of entrepreneurial activity for young people, as well as the place of its implementation. The author draws attention to the fact that in the current conditions for the Russian Federation, a special problematic focus should be focused not so much on the departure of young business competence holders abroad, as on their intra-country migration in the direction of «rural settlement — small town — megalopolis», since this phenomenon can cause irreparable damage to the socio-economic development of territories in the in the long term. An analysis of the migration situation of managers and specialists of the highest level of qualification in the field of business and administration in the municipalities of Bashkortostan Republic for 2022 is carried out using the indicator system. The administrativeterritorial formations of the region, concentrating migration flows of business competencies (metropolitan agglomeration and a number of zones with special economic conditions), as well as a set of territories, including urbanized ones, which are characterized by an outflow of people capable of entrepreneurial activity, are divided by type of settlements. The author made conclusions about the existing systemic problems of Bashkortostan Republic on the issue under consideration.
