Abstract: The article examines the peculiarities of the use of information technologies in tourism, positive and negative moments that arise during virtual tours and excessive use of information technologies. The dosed use of information for educational purposes and for the restoration of physical and moral resources and rehabilitation during martial law and after the end of the war is proposed. Innovations are considered from different points of view: technological, commercial, social. Thus, the introduction of any innovations in tourism is problematic due to the lack of a formed legislative framework in the tourism sector and in the field of innovation. Any changes in innovation processes and norms require additional adaptation of the legislative framework in the tourism sector. The radical development of information technologies has a significant impact on the tourism industry. Because it increases the efficiency of activity and provides opportunities for business expansion in geographical, marketing and operational aspects. Information technology is vital for information processing as well as for monitoring environmental issues. The positive changes that have taken place for the participants of the project "Camino Podolico: Podilsky Way of St. Jacob", which is implemented by the State Tourism Development Agency of Ukraine, the Department of Marketing of the City and Tourism of Vinnytsia City Council, as well as territorial communities of Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions, are analyzed. Tourist equipment is an integral part of every trip to the mountains, active recreation in nature or even a short trip outside the city. It includes a wide range of products, from backpacks and tents to specialized clothing and accessories, which are designed to provide maximum functionality and convenience. Mobile applications have become an integral part of modern life. They are used in various fields, including tourism. In excursion tourism, mobile applications have a number of advantages that help tourists. The organizers of the project offered to participate in the creation of a virtual cultural route, namely: "Walk through Ukraine behind the screen. Camino Podolico is a virtual route of cultural heritage" that will help discover the unique cultural treasures of Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi, preserve and popularize them.
