Increasing Production Productivity of Five-axis Additive Machine by Calibration Automatization

Abstract: Automatic installation system of the calibration sensor for multi-axis additive machine is proposed. It automates one of the calibration stages, thereby reducing the preparation time for operation and increasing the accuracy of the sensor installation. In the developed version, the printhead picks up the sensor itself and returns it to its place. The system is simple in design, and only one solenoid is required from additional electrical actuators.
