Pilot program offers discounts on article publication charges for the Alzheimer's & Dementia family of journals

Abstract: The Journal of the Alzheimer's Association, Alzheimer's & Dementia: Diag- nosis, Assessment & Disease Monitoring (DADM), Alzheimer's & Dementia: Translational Research & Clinical Intervention (TRCI), and the newest addition to the journal family, Alzheimer's & Dementia: Behavior and Socioeconomics of Aging (BSEA).The discounts are tiered and range from 30% to 100% for corresponding authors who are affiliated with institutions located in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs).Discounts are applied in direct relationship to the Purchasing Power Index (PPI) value of each participating country, informed by data from the World Bank International Comparison Program.Discounts are automatically applied when manuscripts are submitted.This pilot program launched in January 2025 and is anticipated to last 12 months.
