Abstract: This study examines the effectiveness of nanoclay in stabilizing clayey soil through laboratory testing. Key parameters, including Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) and Atterberg limits, were evaluated to assess the impact of nanoclay addition. The soil sample used in this research was classified as highly plastic clay. Nanoclay was synthesized through a green synthesis approach, involving the pulverization of the clayey soil into Nano-sized particles. To understand the stabilization mechanism, X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis were conducted.
