Features of the Formation and Development of Human Capital in the Agro-industrial Complex of the Russian Federation

Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of the prospects for the development of human capital in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. The authors analyze the efficiency indicators of the agro-industrial complex in conjunction with the key components of the human capital structure of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic (indicators of demography, education level, innovation potential, and others). The paper examines current trends in personnel training for agriculture, the role of digitalization and innovation in agriculture, as well as government support measures aimed at strengthening youth in the agricultural sector. Based on the research results, the author offers recommendations for further improvement of personnel policy and stimulation of labor activity in the industry. The results of the study can be used to develop strategies for the development of the agricultural sector in other regions of Russia.
