Abstract: Effective professional communication is essential for agricultural students to succeed in academic, professional, and industry settings. This article explores the role of Socratic seminars as an educational method for enhancing critical thinking, verbal and non-verbal communication, and engagement in agricultural education. The integration of technology in Socratic seminars is also discussed, highlighting its role in fostering interactive, inquiry-driven learning environments. Despite challenges such as institutional constraints and resource limitations, Socratic seminars offer a promising approach to improving argumentation skills, cognitive development, and stakeholder communication in agricultural education. Future research should explore adaptive strategies to optimize this method for diverse educational and professional settings.
