Abstract: This research is motivated by educational problems that not only include intellectual development, but rather emphasize the process of fostering the personality of students as a whole. Student learning activities are greatly influenced by teacher teaching activities, because in the learning process teachers still have an important role in providing knowledge to their students. One of the problems faced is how to organize active learning and the activeness of students can learn effectively. Therefore, an interesting learning strategy is needed, one of which is using information search learning strategies. A method designed to improve the information literacy ability of learners. This method also allows students to be more active than just listening to material from the teacher. In addition, students are required to find answers to questions that have been prepared by the teacher. It is very important for teachers in choosing learning strategies because it can affect the high and low interest of students and one of the factors of low learning outcomes due to lack of interest. This information search learning strategy will help teachers improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students, especially in science material about natural resources and their use. This study aims to determine how to use information search learning strategies on science learning outcomes about natural resources and their use for grade v children. This type of research uses qualitative research.
