Abstract: Currently, microelectronics is one of the main areas of science that supports the country's economy, its status in the world, as well as the development of technology and other scientific developments. In this article, we will look at the lags between Russian microelectronics and American microelectronics, explore key issues, identify the problems Russia faces in the process of catching-up development, and suggest possible solutions to these problems.
