Abstract: ‘A5-14-8’ is a muscadine breeding line with good potential for fresh market. This female flower selection produces very large fruits (over 15g) with several preferred traits such as high yield, uniform ripening, and lower ripe rot rate. The fruits taste pleasant with remarkable crunchiness and thin skins. The vine is moderately vigorous and disease resistant. Its fruits ripen around September 1st in Tallahassee, FL.
