A note on the stability of Cournot points of duopoly models with time delay

Abstract: In this paper, we consider duopoly models with delays. We find the conditions to have an asymptotically stable fixed point, called Cournot points. Furthermore, we show that in some cases, the stability regions decrease when the delay grows, but the delay does not affect the stability in other cases. Finally, our results are applied to well-known duopoly models.
