Year: 2024
Type: conference-paper
Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: Grounded in the theory of planned behavior and human capital theory, this study proposes a comprehensive view of the determinants of social entrepreneurial intention. Data was collected from 155 students in Vietnam regarding their social entrepreneurial intention. This study used Smart Partial Least Square 4.0 to analyze the data. The findings show that self-efficacy, social support, and social entrepreneurial education have positive impacts on social entrepreneurial intention. In contrast, social norms, perceived risk, and entrepreneurial leadership do not affect social entrepreneurial intention. This paper contributes several valuable theoretical and implications for policymakers, educators, and practitioners.
