Abstract: Objective: This paper presents a narrative review of the role of IT and data analysis in promoting sustainable architecture, with a focus on India.Methods: The review summarizes existing research on concepts related to sustainable architecture, the use of IT tools and technologies in green buildings, the application of data analysis to improve building performance and the trends and policies influencing the green building sector in India.Results: The findings stress the importance of IT and data analysis in increasing energy efficiency, promoting resource conservation and enhancing the overall sustainability of the built environment.Conclusion: The paper discusses challenges such as high initial costs and the need for skilled professionals as well as opportunities arising from government support and growing market demand.
