Abstract: Background and aim Rhinoplasty is a common surgical procedure that requires a high level of skill and expertise from surgeons due to its complex technical nuances. This work aimed to explore the functional and aesthetic outcomes of different methods of open septorhinoplasty. Patients and methods This prospective interventional work was performed on 50 patients aged 18 years and above, both genders, with signs and symptoms of external nasal deformities, persistent nasal obstruction owing to deviation of the septum and nasal valve collapse, and nasal obstruction not responding to medical therapy for greater than 6 months. Septorhinoplasty was assessed in all patients. Results The lesion of the studied patients was 23 (46%) depressed fractures, 11 (22%) hump, 12 (24%) deviated septum and four (8%) twisted. The follow-up 6 months in the studied patients showed 43 (86%) good improvement and two (4%) supari depression, three (6%) still deviated, and two (4%) broad noses. The endoscopic follow-up of studied patients was 47 (94%) good and three (6%) nasal obstruction. The satisfaction appearance was very much in 37 (74%) patients and nasal obstructions in 13 (26%) patients. The satisfaction of breathing was very much in 34 (68%) patients and moderate in 16 (32%) patients. The satisfaction confidence was very high in 12 (24%) patients, moderate in nine (18%) patients, completely in 22 (44%) patients, and somewhat in seven (14%) patients. Conclusions Rhinoplasty, although it is an intricate operation, has shown advantages in terms of both functionality and cosmetic results. Rhinoplasty provides long-term satisfaction in most patients.
