Dispersion and variation orders of extreme order statistics from dependent unit gamma Gompertz random variables
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Dispersive order is used to compare the variability in probability distributions, while star order is used to compare the skewness of probability distributions. In this paper, we discuss dispersive and star orders of the smallest and largest order statistics from dependent unit gamma Gompertz random variables. We also use the Archimedean copula for representing the joint distribution of the underlying random variables. Several numerical examples are presented in order to illustrate all the results established here.
