Abstract: The article is devoted to the issue of designing and constructing a wind power plant in the North Kazakhstan region. The main objective of such a plant is to use an additional renewable energy source to cover the deficit in electricity generation and change the balance of power flow across the border with the Russian Federation. As a result of the study, a location for the construction of the plant was determined, the number and capacity of wind turbines were selected.
