Abstract: Four-day week – Good working conditions for the office only? The 4-day week is often associated with shorter working hours and better working conditions – but what about shift work? Well-designed schedules can also reduce strain and offer attractive work-free times in this context. The key is demand-oriented planning that accounts for both operational requirements and employee needs.
