Abstract: The following methodology paper delves into the process undertaken to investigate careertransitions of a homogeneous group of former military personnel. The focus of the work is todescribe the steps taken to understand the causes of their transition into school leadership rolesandd the repercussions of this change of career. The method presented is dubbed the hybrid-360assessment and uses aspects of the standard 360 assessment while modifying it to address the theery specifdic issue of midlife career transitions.With careers being more fluid than ever before and occurring at later ages, the methodologypresented in this report can provide the theoretical framework to gain better insight into thissociological phenomenon andd offer the assistance and support needed to those undergoing thisdifficult and complex life exeprience.
