Abstract: The role of occupational medicine in company integration management – a case study Company integration management (BEM) plays a crucial role in enabling employees to reintegrate into everyday working life after a long period of illness. The following case study highlights the situation of an employee who is no longer able to perform his previous duties due to severe health restrictions. The measures and findings presented illustrate the relevance of an individually coordinated BEM.
