Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of statistics in measuring the success of poverty alleviation programs through education, with a focus on identifying methodological gaps and offering new insights for a more holistic evaluation. The research method used is library research with a qualitative approach, where the subject of the study includes academic literature such as journals, books, and government reports, while the object of the study is the use of statistical methods in evaluating education programs. Data collection techniques are carried out through systematic searches of secondary sources from academic databases such as Google Scholar and JSTOR, while data analysis techniques include content analysis and comparative analysis to identify patterns, trends, and gaps in previous research. The results of the study indicate that statistics play an important role in program evaluation, but their use is often limited to conventional quantitative indicators. This study offers a more inclusive approach by integrating qualitative aspects, local context, and advanced statistical methods such as multivariate regression analysis and big data analytics. These findings provide recommendations for improving program effectiveness and contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
