Abstract: The article displays the analyzes of the methods of designing information systems and data processing methods. Various approaches to creating information systems are considered, including structured and objectoriented methodologies. Particular attention is paid to the CASE methodology as a method widely used in modern programming. The article is an overview of modern trends in information technology and can be useful both for specialists in this field and for students studying computer science and related disciplines. The material provides systematized information on design and data processing methods, which allows readers to better understand the principles of creating and optimizing information systems.
