Recent Developments and Perspectives in Palladium‐Catalyzed Multi‐Component Reactions

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Multi‐component reactions (MCRs) involve the reaction of three or more compounds to yield a single product. Typically, MCRs are eco‐friendly and atom‐economical processes, widely used to synthesize pharmaceutically relevant compounds with diverse applications in both medicinal and synthetic chemistry. Nowadays, transition metals are widely used as catalysts in MCRs due to their exceptional ability to create both C–C and C‐heteroatom bonds. Metal‐catalyzed MCRs offer optimal chemical diversity, excellent atom economy, and energy savings.
