Abstract: Classroom action research (CAR) requires accurate and efficient data collection to support the process of reflection and improvement in teaching practices. This study aims to examine the techniques, tools, and challenges in data collection in CAR using the library research method. The primary data sources in this study were obtained through a literature review of various journals, books, and publications related to CAR. The analysis was conducted to identify data collection techniques commonly used in CAR, such as observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. In addition, this research also discusses data collection tools, including observation sheets, video recordings, and online survey applications. Challenges encountered in the data collection process, such as data validity, time constraints, and technical difficulties, were also identified and discussed. The results of the study show that selecting the right techniques and tools, along with effectively addressing challenges, is essential for improving the quality of classroom action research outcomes
