Abstract: The paper explains that, for Goethe, the phenomenon, while marking the boundaries of human understanding, consistently symbolizes the wholeness of nature, as it encompasses, in all its forms, the inexhaustible dynamism of nature. This dynamism possesses a daemonic character that, though irrational, does not oppose humanity but rather complements it and fosters its development.
