Abstract: This study examines the impact of financial literacy, self-control, and social environment on interest in investing in cryptocurrency. Specifically, it analyzes how financial literacy influences interest in cryptocurrency investment, how self-control affects such interest, and how one's social environment impacts their interest in cryptocurrency investment. The validity test using Partial Least Squares (PLS) indicates how well the results obtained from the measurements align with the theory used to define a construct as per Jogiyanto (2007). According to Jogiyanto, indicator values are acceptable when the outer loading value is 0.50 or higher to maintain the measurement model. A strong correlation between constructs and items shows that financial literacy positively influences interest in cryptocurrency investment with a value of 0.166. The social environment has a positive effect on interest in cryptocurrency investment with a value of 0.564. Self-control has a negative effect on interest in cryptocurrency investment with a value of 0.032. Financial literacy plays a crucial role in shaping students' attitudes and interest in investment. The knowledge, experience, awareness, and confidence gained from financial literacy suggest that the social environment of students has a positive influence on their interest in cryptocurrency investment in various ways. Although self-control is an important aspect of investment management, students' interest in investing is more influenced by knowledge, education, environmental influence, and personal motivation based on the findings of this study.
