Abstract: This study explores the influence of organizational culture on knowledge management in private higher education institutions (LLDIKTI) in Region II, integrating aspects of management theory and organizational theory, grounded in the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Knowledge-Based View (KBV) theories. The main objective of the research was to evaluate how organizational culture impacts knowledge management, with Green Innovation (GI) as a mediating variable and New Public Management (NPM) as a moderating variable. The moderating variable, New Public Management, was applied as pure moderation. The research design was cross-sectional, using data collected through questionnaires involving 305 respondents from private higher education institutions in LLDIKTI Region II. Data analysis was conducted using structural equation modelling using Smart PLS. The hypothesis testing results reveal that organizational culture significantly affects knowledge management before mediation by Green Innovation and moderation by New Public Management. Organizational culture also significantly influences Green Innovation, which, in turn, has a significant effect on knowledge management. Furthermore, when Green Innovation mediates the relationship, it indirectly impacts the effect of organizational culture on knowledge management. When moderated by New Public Management, the influence of organizational culture on knowledge management was strengthened in the context of private higher education institutions in LLDIKTI Region II.
