Abstract: The article deals with the problem of using an educational physical experiment to develop the thinking of schoolchildren. The negative tendency of erasing the differences between full-scale and virtual experiments in the practice of teaching is indicated. It is proposed to build a system of educational physical experiments based on the principles of thinking development in accordance with a generalized algorithm for organizing the study of the educational section of physics at school.
