Abstract: The paper "Advanced Filtering of Unknown Devices in Event-Based NILM" present a study of different methods that can filter step changes in electrical power consumption of household appliances into two categories: Known step changes (from previously seen appliances) and unknown changes (which need to be removed prior to running an event-based NILM method in order to reduce incorrect power attributions). The work was reviewed by three reviewers and accepted after a revision process including a discussion between reviewers and authors.
