Extensive calcified peritoneal carcinomatosis: An imaging awe

Abstract: Peritoneal calcification can be due to various benign and malignant pathologies. Malignant calcifications are commonly due to serous adenocarcinomas either of ovarian or primary peritoneal origin. Nodular calcification favors neoplastic etiology, while benign calcifications are smooth and linear.
