Abstract: This paper addresses the issue that the domestic elevator group control technology has not been fully digested or introduced. To this end, the hardware and signal components of the elevator system are briefly introduced, along with their main features. The modular design of the PLC program is then discussed, detailing each module, including the initialization module, elevator up-and-down operation and speed control module, elevator door control module, and group control module. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed program is verified by comparison with other solutions using elevator simulation software, demonstrating the feasibility of this approach.
