Abstract: The high incidence of malignant tumors and the limitations of existing therapies have driven the development of efficient, low-toxicity antitumor drugs. Ginsenosides, as the core components of medicinal plants, have attracted significant attention due to their multi-target antitumor effects and the innovative application of nano-delivery systems. This article reviews the structural classification, antitumor mechanisms, and research progress of delivery systems such as liposomes, polymeric micelles, and nanoparticles for ginsenosides. Furthermore, the article suggests that future efforts should focus on optimizing delivery technologies and exploring synergistic strategies across multiple mechanisms to facilitate the clinical translation of ginsenosides and their related nano-drugs
