Abstract: The article discusses the innovations proposed in the sphere of legislation in the investment area of the Republic of Belarus, aimed at creating and updating the conditions for the implementation of large-scale investment projects within the framework of investment agreements. The following amendments are proposed: change the concept of «improved products» to «innovative products»; make changes to investment legislation when defining new priority areas of science and technology in accordance with Resolution No. 417 and the KF S&T P. Proposals are made to ensure high-tech production of innovative products during the implementation of special investment agreements. Criteria for assessing the technologies when concluding contracts have been developed in terms of their compliance with the current level and requirements for ensuring technological sovereignty. A comparative analysis of the existing legislation with the proposed changes and additions was conducted.
