Abstract: In this study, three new Schiff base compounds (1-3) have been synthesized with a high yield of 85-92% by direct condensation between terephthalaldehyde with three different amines (4bromoaniline, 4-hydroxyaniline, and 2,4-dinitrophenyl) hydrazine.The prepared compounds (1-3) were confirmed using the (FT-IR), proton 1H and Carbone 13 NMR, and high mass spectroscopy techniques.The melting point of each prepared compound was also recorded.The reaction mixture was observed using the thin-layer chromatography (TLC) method.
