Abstract: It is a well-known truth that the emotions displayed by humans in their facial expressions set them apart from other species.Since artificial intelligence is developing rapidly in many fields, it's critical to understand human emotions when using auto reply systems. This work will recognize the user's emotion from their facial expressions. These expressions can be generated from any previously stored image or from the current feed obtained by the system's camera.Human emotions are recognizable and have been extensively studied in the field of computer vision, with numerous studies having already been conducted in this area.Open-Source Computer Vision Library (Open CV) and Python have been used in the implementation of the work.Emotion is predicted by comparing the scanned image (testing dataset) to the training dataset. This research aims to create a system that can assess an image and forecast an individual's facial expression. The study demonstrates that this process is feasible and yields reliable results.
