Abstract: This study investigates the association between technological innovations and the fintech sector in the Exchange industry in Jordan and the mediating role of artificial intelligence (AI).The financial services industry, including businesses ranging from cash handling to currency exchange, is adopting digitalization to enhance efficiency, scale, and gains relative to the competition.AI is becoming one of the most critical enablers in modern operations.This research explores the significant relationship between major technological innovations, including blockchain, IoT, and cloud computing, and fintech performance through currency exchange businesses in Jordan.It further analyzes how AI mediates these innovations of providing decision-making, task automation, and predictive analytics.We adopted a mixed-methods approach to gain a holistic view of the AIled innovations in the foreign exchange sector by utilizing qualitative and quantitative data.The findings amplify AI's capacity to revolutionize operational efficiency, resilience, and agility in the fintech domain and provide key insights for stakeholders in currency exchange businesses, governmental regulators, and technology developers in Jordan.
