The Office Key Opens the Door to my Home! And Now, Can I (Dis)connect? Quality of Life in Teleworking: Routes, Challenges and Opportunities
Year: 2025
Type: article
Study design: Systematic Review
Abstract: This article aims to analyze scientific production on the subject of quality of life in the context of teleworking, in order to present the current panorama of studies, by identifying the itineraries of international scientific production that inspired the proposal of an agenda with new challenges for further research. A systematic literature review was carried out using the Scopus and Web of Science databases, with no time frame, to cover all the publications. The still incipient field of studies on Quality of Life at Work (QWL) expresses the urgency of updating research and proposals that have practical implications for individuals, organizations, and society, with special attention to the complex scenario imposed by Covid-19, already glimpsing the post-pandemic context. QWL is becoming an agenda in the creation of strategies, policies, and practices that advocate humanized and productive work environments, so that the routes of scientific production and research agendas portrayed here bring inputs towards an increasingly strategic and sustainable human resource management.
