Abstract: The literature specialized in discussing the political organization and rights advocacy by dissident sexual and gender identities from the heteronormative standard has given little space to experiences outside the Rio de Janeiro-São Paulo axis. Walking in the opposite direction, this article aims to construct memories of the LGBT+ Movement in Pernambuco between 2010 and 2020. Thus, the study intends to contribute to a broader understanding of this form of collective action in Brazil.
