Vacuum System of the Nsc Kipt Sca “neutron Source”. the First Section of the Liner Accelerator

Abstract: In the paper the general layout and detail description of the accelerator injection part vacuum system of the 100 MeV/100 kW electron linear accelerator – driver of the NSC KIPT Subcritical assembly is presented. The use of the accelerator vacuum equipment types is justified. The conditions to reach the operative vacuum value are described and results of the vacuum system operation during facility physical start-up are presented.
