Pushing the boundaries of dielectric permittivity in polysiloxanes: polar dipole modifications enable amorphous pyroelectric polymers
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: A polysiloxane containing nitroaniline has a permittivity of 35 at 40 °C. Its TiO 2 composite has two T g s for the polymer in bulk and interface. Poling of this composite leads to a material with a pyroelectric coefficient of 3.4 μC m −2 K −1 at 30 °C.
