This discussion delves into the historical evolution of Development Studies, the state of Development Studies in Africa, and the Kenyan economy. Through the review of peer-reviewed literature, it discusses the role of Development Studies in promoting socio-economic, and ecological development in Kenya, the challenges faced by the faculty, and probable solutions to the challenges.
