Abstract: Significant rates of development of the Russian mortgage market and the mortgage securities market against the background of the implementation of the digitalization of the economy and the digital transformation of the processes of public administration, the activities of financial market entities, etc. determine the relevance of this study. The author focuses on the study of issues related to the introduction and development of such a significant instrument for the segment of mortgage securities as electronic mortgages; the advantages of this security for ensuring a larger-scale mortgage securitization and the development of mortgage lending in the country are assessed. The article also discusses other options related to the digital transformation of business in the Russian mortgage market.
