Microwave-assisted interzeolite transformations

Abstract: Microwave heating of FAU zeolite in alkaline solutions results in transformations into EDI, MER, LTJ, CAN, and ANA-type zeolites. The use of microwaves significantly accelerates the synthesis and uncovers a previously unobserved transformation to LTJ-type zeolite.
