Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Knowledge management is crucial for business competitiveness in a dynamic environment. This exploratory study reviews recent literature on models and strategies applied in organizations, analyzing sources indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Nonaka and Takeuchi's SECI model and intellectual capital approaches are highlighted as key theoretical frameworks. In addition, effective strategies such as digitization through knowledge management systems, artificial intelligence and big data are identified, along with the promotion of a learning organizational culture. However, challenges remain such as resistance to change, lack of integration of tacit and explicit knowledge, and difficulties in measuring their organizational impact. It is concluded that the combination of advanced technologies and knowledge-based leadership drives innovation and business adaptability. This study provides an updated overview of trends and challenges in knowledge management, with theoretical and practical implications.
