Assessment of the Competitiveness of Petrochemical Products in the Context of Innovative Development of Kazakhstan

Abstract: Issues of increasing competitiveness are important for any business entity, since the level of its development is determined not only by the volume of economic potential, but also by the level of competitiveness of manufactured and marketed products. In the article, the authors noted that the development of petrochemistry is the most promising way to form a competitive economy in Kazakhstan in the medium term. Now, in the strategy for the development of the oil and gas sector, it is necessary to give priority attention to petrochemical industries that have high innovative significance and high efficiency. In the leading countries of the world, the chemical industry is one of the main, main industries, while the share of structural materials in the balance of plastics is estimated, synthetic fibers in the structure of textile raw materials, synthetic rubbers among elastomers – the degree of technological development of national economies. The authors believe that the innovative development of the national economy involves increasing the competitiveness of domestic petrochemical enterprises, adapting them to new management conditions, increasing the pace of production renewal through the mechanism of formation and implementation of innovative processes through a combination of components such as market, resource, financial, motivational mechanisms and the mechanism of innovative infrastructure.
